Voice search optimization in digital media: challenges, use and training

In view of the widespread use virtual voice assistants and/or searches on smartphones to find all kinds information, this article explores search optimisation (VSO) and its application in journalistic sector. To end, 32 semi-structured interviews were conducted with experts representing different professional profiles fields journalism, engine (SEO) academic research. On basis data, eight semantic categories created experts’ perceptions correlated identify response patterns. The results confirm existence various degrees convergence divergence between these three relation dimensions VSO, such as definition, techniques, current future strategic role digital media, writing. This study confirms that although VSO news media is still embryonic stages, it will be useful medium long term train journalists basic aspects searches. addition, internal SEO departments should prepared optimise visibility for when they become technology companies develop define a viable business model.
